This is the first real snow we have had. Mason and Adam had to get out and sled first chance they had. Marcus liked to help dad shovel the snow but didn't like it when the wind would whip up the snow and blow it in his face. Kirt of course is putting salt down after shoveling the driveway.

Christmas Morning
Kirt and Adam woke Mom, Mason, and Marcus up at 9am. Yes, I said 9am. Of course I didn't get to go to bed until 2am. Marcus didn't want to wake up so we had to show him what was in the present before he realized it was something he would want. Mason had a good Christmas morning. He got a brand new basketball, that he hasn't put down since then. He also liked getting computer games/storybooks and reading rainbow movies. Marcus played all day and all night with his Thomas the Trains. Adam got a WWII memrobilia book and the new Call to Duty PC game. We missed being around family though. Hope everyone had a great Christmas too.
THE STAR
This is Mason after his School Christmas Program. He was the Littlest Star for the play of the Littlest Christmas Tree. He did a great Job. He
Also had a Gold hat on and put that on the littlest tree
during the play. I love watching all the kids at
Mason's school in the christmas program. They
have so much fun and do a great job.

Marcus - Happy 4th Birthday
Here is how the day began. Marcus woke up really sick and has been sick for the last 2 days. So I called the Doctor and we went to prompt care at St. Francis Hospital. Well his breathing was labored enough that they put him in emergency instead of prompt care. He had to get a breathing treatment with some strong medicine and 2 X-rays, then 2 shots of steroids in both legs. Needless to say his Birthday didn't start out to happy. We had to stay so they could monitor him till 2pm. We got there around 10am. He fell asleep on the way home and slept till 4pm when dads phone call woke him up. Then it took me 30 min. to get him happy enough to hold him, and to find clean clothes that he wanted to wear. 6 outfits latter he chose the blue. He really liked his presents and is still playing with them. Daddy also gave him his red wagon early yesterday because he wasn't feeling well then. Marcus weighs 44 lbs. His tall as you can see. All the nurses and xray techs said boy is he big for a 4 year old. Marcus loves playing at school. He has made some great progress with his social and playskills, and also with his speech. He tells the teacher "outside now". He likes to tell us which way to go when we are driving somewhere. He will say "This Way" or "Go That Way". He can now count correctly up to 20. Now if we could only get him potty trained. Maybe I can get the school to do it for me. We are greatful for this little boy coming into our family. He is an active little boy with a spirit that makes you smile. We love him very much.

Adam's last tennis match of the season. He and Damonte played doubles against Whiteland Warriors. The Warriors have the same colors at the Westwood Warriors in Mesa, Arizona. Orange and Blue. Adam didn't win but they had a good time playing. He is going to take some tennis lessons during the winter at the University of Indianapolis.

Marcus had a blast with water during this summer. He played in it almost everyday. I let him play a lot outside in the water or else he would find ways to play with water inside the house. He flooded Adam's bathroom several times. There was at least 1 inch of water covering the floor and still more comming over the counter. Kirt has also wanted to get him a monkey for a while and so we found one we really liked and brought it home this last thursday Aug. 20th. He loves it. He sleeps with it. He takes it with us in the car. I am going to post a video too. He is playing with his Monkey which he calls Monkey right after Kirt gave it to him.

Marcus
Marcus with lots of balloons at the last day of school party. Marcus taking Elmo, Blue, and Pablo in the bathtub with him. Marcus likes to play in our cars and pretend he is driving. You have to be careful when you turn the cars on because you don't know what switches he has flipped. Top picture is Marcus with Boompa(my dad) the saturday before fathers day. Mom and Dad came out for the week. Marcus really liked to play with his Boompa.

The boys had a lot of fun swimming the first night in Middletown, Ohio. The second night they were not happy because the pool was closed due to Tornado warnings.

Arizona Visit for Grandma Reed's Funeral
This is my niece Cheyenne Hope Nelson. My younger sister Farrah's baby. She is a cute chunky monkey. This is my Mom, Brenda Reed holding her. Adam and I went to Arizona for 4 days for My Grandma Reed's funeral. It was good to see all my family on both sides. All the kids have grown up so much. Everyone was suprised to see how tall Adam had gotten. The weather was lovely there. Mostly in the High 70's with some rain. We wore shorts and t-shirts most of the time.

Adam
Kirt took Adam and his friend Ben to the Ropkey armor museum during the Christmas holiday. Adam is so tall that he had to duck to get in the tank. Adam has been doing
swimm practice for a week now. He
has already been bumped up a lane.
We measured Adam just 2 days ago
and he is 5foot 10 1/4 inches. To help
him comb his hair he either has to sit down
or bend over for me.
Adam is in 8th grade/ 13 years old.
He will be in high school this
next school year. Boy how time
flies.
